In my zeal to make sure my brother Mark makes it to the next round of Dancing With The Stars, I am engaging in unmerciful brutal spam. Yes Iadmit it. 

I am not spamming in the sense that I am sending thousands of emails to random names. I have been however, sending my voting pleas out to my entire email list which is quite large. Some of the people on it probably do not even like me. 

In any event, the response has been almost all positive until yesterday. Someone that I have had passing contact with responded back that Ishould take her off my emailing list because Mark was “Un-American”. 

Now I get people offering opinions on Mark to me every day of theweek. He cant dance, He’s arrogant, He couldn’t carry Donald Trump’s briefcase,He is this , He is that…. you get the picture. This stuff all goes in one ear and out the other. I view them as media perception attacks which goes with the territory. Mark is a big boy and doesn’t need me to stick up for him. 

When this person called him Un-American, it was a dagger right in my stomach. I without hesitation viewed it as a personal attack on Mark andthe entire Cuban family which I will defend at all times. I took it very personally. I wont repeat what I wrote back but will admit I didn’t count to ten and responded emotionally. 

On retrospect I should have treated it like every other opinion,view, whatever on Mark that I always ignore. They are all based on media perception and have no basis in reality. Myself and Mark’s true friends and family should not care less about idiotic statements like that. We know who he is and what he has done for this country with no fanfare whatsoever such as the Fallen Patriot Fund which has given to date over 2.5 million dollars to injured soldiers and families of soldiers killed in Operation Iraqi Freedom.

There are countless other causes that go un-noticed except bythose he has helped and lives he has changed for the better. 

So to those who confuse art with reality; to those who think theCIA killed Kennedy and that “Loose Change” is historical fact, take a big bite of American Apple Pie and hold it tight. You have a better grip onthat pie than you do the facts……

 

 

 

As many know, my brother Mark Cuban has been competing on the ABC show Dancing with the Stars. I had the privilege of attending the First Show in LA. It was a great experience.  Mark has done a great job and worked harder than I have seen him work at anything. I have tried to do my part by sending out emails to thousands of people in the hopes that they will vote for Mark and help get him on to the next round!  Its going to get a lot tougher from here on out. I think even Mark would admit that after this coming week there will be a decent jump in the talent gap. Hopefully his supporters will make up for any “judging”   issues and get him on to the next round! EVERYONE VOTE!
